Please beware of Rescues outside of Massachusetts selling Puppy Doe t-shirts and other memorabilia. These rescues have nothing to do with this case and they are not providing funds to the Animal Rescue League of Boston who investigated this case with the Quincy Police. An ethical rescue or vendor will state up front what your money is funding. If you have to dig deep to find out then there is a problem. The Animal Rescue League of Boston and the MSPCA-Angell do not sell such merchandise. This seems to be an issue coming out of NY especially.
This certain rescue group ( based out of NY) are selling a line of Puppy Doe merchandise with the Justice for Puppy Doe name and images of Puppy Doe. They had nothing to do with Puppy Doe but jumped all over it when it hit the news because one of their rescuers is stationed in Massachusetts. They have various rescuers in several states. They set up a reward fund but it was financed by the fans on that page and also set up a vigil in NY and sold merchandise and funded their own cause. They did not find or rescue this dog and have not provided a penny to the Animal Rescue League of Boston who investigated the case with the police. They are raking in more money and fame with this dog without spending a dime to help… not nice or fair behaviour!
